- The CX-884 was designed to buff tires from a minimum diameter of 28" to a maximum diameter of 52" and cross section up to 18".
- The 40 horsepower rasp motor delivers power, durability, economy and long life to the buffer. It drives the circumferential rasp at 3600/3450 RPM to produce a cool RMA-4 texture on the tire.
- The tire is driven from the surface so that all diameter tires are buffed at the optimum surface speed of 700 feet per minute. The surface drive also provides a soft start which eliminates shock to the drive motor as well as to the machine itself. It also eliminates damage to and maintenance of an expensive gear reducer by totally eliminating the gear reducer.
- The machine is totally hydraulic controlled allowing the operator to control it with one simple joy stick.
- The one-to-one ratio template system allows precise contour control on every buff.
- The CX-884 is also available in an automatic version CXA-884 that will buff the tire to a given diameter or until it reaches a desired undertread depth.
- The cast iron members provide quiet, rigid and accurate operation of the machine. It also allows us to build it compact to fit most any buffing room.

The KW-304 was designed to buff both passenger car and truck tires with bead diameters from 12" to 24.5" and corss section up to 18".
